DOODUSH DIAPER COVERS, PUL with MICROFLEECE (sizes: NB, OS and XL)

Washable diaper cover can be used during the whole nappy period. Outer matherial is waterproof, breathing and soft.

  • Ecological, washable PUL diaper covers create a nice microclimate of the skin. It is easy to keep them clean.
  • They are designed and made in Poland from polish materials. They are modern and give good protection. The high quality makes them the best on the market.
  • They are created for babies and made of the best quality, certificated materials.
  • In our offer you can find 3 sizes of diaper covers:
Newborn (NB) designed for the smallest users from 3 to 6,5 kg,
One Size (OS) suitable for babies from 5 to 14 kg,
XL Size created for babies from 9 to 18 kg.

Outer material is waterproof, vapor permeable, soft and it protects leakage. PUL fibre does not let water particles through but it lets steam practices through so the baby skin is healthy.

Thanks to the system of densely spaced snaps, size can be regulated according to the age and weight. Soft elastics around the legs prevent the leakage. Wide elastic in the waist makes the nappy fit the baby’s body. Nappies can be used during day and night.

Using a diaper cover differs from using the pocket nappy. You can use diaper cover a few times before washing, just changing only the absorbent inserts. Microfleece flaps keep the insert in the right place.

In our offer you can also find universal microfiber absorption inserts designed in sizes: S, M and L. M or L inserts can be combined with S insert to get extra absorbency.

Another option are our natural absorption inserts, which are made from bio cotton and bio bamboo. They are extremely absorbent.

Washing recommendations are included on the label. Washing temperature 40-60 degrees. The colors do not wash out.

SIZE

To ensure a perfect fit, we offer three sizes of PUL covers to choose from:

  • newborn size (NB) – for newborns and small babies in the weight range of approx. 3.5 – 6.5 kg,
  • One Size (OS) – it is perfect for almost the entire diaper period, it is designed for children from approx. 5 to 14-15 kg,
  • XL size – it is created for older children for whom the OS size (sufficient for most children until the end of the diaper period) is too small. XL size is suitable for children from approx. 9-10 kg to approx. 18-20 kg.

If you are interested in PUL covers, you can choose between the following versions:

  • Standard – then the cover is sewn from one layer of PUL material, thanks to which it provides a high level of vapor permeability, so the diaper is more “breathable”,
  • 2PUL – this type of covers are made of two layers of PUL, this causes that we have greater protection against leaks.

In the case of pocket diapers, it is possible to choose the material that is located directly next to the child’s bottom:

  • coolmax – it gives a feeling of moderate moisture and freshness,
  • microfleece – giving a feeling of dryness.

Below we present some practical notes taken from the manufacturer’s website:

  1. You should not wash diapers on an economical program – economical programs use less water,
so in this case the diapers may not be rinsed thoroughly. This, in turn, can cause both skin
problems in your child and the formation of detergent deposits in fabric fibers.

2. Do not use chlorine bleach – it will destroy the rubber bands and PUL fabric and will void the warranty.

3. Do not wash at temperatures above 60 degrees C – the membrane in the PUL fabric may gradually become sticky under the influence of such                   high temperatures. Washing at 60 degrees is fully sufficient – coli bacteria are destroyed at 60 degrees after about 25 minutes of washing, and                 with the use of an antibacterial additive already at 40 degrees C. Boiling the diapers and ironing is therefore unnecessary.

4. Do not use detergents that will stick to the diaper fibers – do not use fabric softeners. In the case of synthetic inserts (with microfiber) or pockets, it         is also important to use washing powder containing less than 5% soap. If the synthetic material (microfiber, colmax, microfleece, mayka) becomes         greasy, it may stop absorbing moisture. In such a case, you should degrease the diaper by soaking it in hot water with dishwashing liquid. After a           few hours, rinse the diapers by hand and then wash them in the washing machine.

5. Do not use baking soda and vinegar in excessive amounts or constantly as washing additives – this may cause faster wear of the elastic bands, PUL         fabric and the entire diaper. Instead of using these products frequently, it is a good idea to crumple the diapers a little after washing, as this loose

6. Do not dry diapers/swaddles with a PUL layer on a radiator or in a tumble dryer – there is no need to do so because they are almost dry and this             may  cause the breathable laminate layer to melt, which will lose its waterproof properties and leak.

7. Do not spin diapers/swaddles with a PUL layer at a speed above 800 rpm – this may cause the PUL to delaminate and stretch the air-permeable             pores, resulting in moisture being allowed to pass through.

8. Do not rinse diapers in hot water – this will set the stains. Just use gall soap and additional rinsing in cold water. Hanging wet inserts in the sun             after washing also helps with stubborn stains. This method can really work wonders!

9. Diapers should not be ironed – the PUL layer would be irreversibly damaged, while the inserts would become less absorbent.

10. When using synthetic inserts (microfiber) or pockets with microfleece/Coolmax, do not allow the diaper to come into direct contact with the                     diaper  rash cream – the fibers would become greasy, which would reduce the absorbency of the diaper. If you need to apply diaper rash cream,              you  can use disposable tissue paper as a barrier between the diaper and your baby’s bottom. The effects of long-term use of lubricating ointments         can also be prevented by degreasing diapers using dishwashing liquid, described above. If you need to use creams, it is best to choose a swaddle +         cotton/bamboo insert system – in this case you don’t have to worry about getting it greasy.

11. How to handle a diaper so as not to damage it? When placing the absorbent insert in a diaper or wrap, be careful not to catch the PUL fabric with a        ring or fingernail and follow the instructions provided. Do not exceed the recommended washing temperature, dry them preferably naturally. We          do not iron diapers and swaddles. When undoing the snaps, always hold the fabric as close to the snaps as possible with your finger to prevent                damaging the fabric.

12. How to remove stains from diapers? It is best to wash stains, e.g. from poop, immediately under cold water with the addition of gall soap or                    powder, leave the diaper for a few hours, and then rinse it in cold water. If washing does not remove all the stains, it is worth exposing the diaper            to the sun, which is great at whitening stubborn stains.
